Lend a Hand to Typhoon Maring Victims
More than one million people and more than 220,000 families have been affected by Typhoon Maring. Because of this, we urge everyone to share their blessings and extend a helping hand. We’ve compiled a list of organizations that are accepting donations for the flood victims or seeking volunteers. Read on and see how you can help:
Department of Social Welfare and Development
In need of volunteers at DSWD’s National Resource Operations Center (NROC) at NAIA Chapel Road, Pasay City. You may give them a ring at 02-8528081 or 02-8512681.
Philippine Red Cross
Visit their website http://www.redcross.org.ph/donate for ways on how to donate cash or in-kind.
Has started their relief operations and has put up a page where you can donate online: http://worldvision.org.ph/forms/help/index.php.

Is in need of rice, canned goods, noodles, biscuits, coffee, sugar, water, clothes, medicines, mats and cash donations. You can drop them at ABS-CBN Foundation-Sagip Kapamilya Headquarters at #13 Examiner St., West Triangle, Quezon City. For cash donations, you may deposit to Banco de Oro under the account name “ABS-CBN Foundation Inc.-Sagip Kapamilya” with account number 393-011-4199. For international cash donations, Sagip Kapamilya’s BDO dollar account number is 393-008-1622 with a ‘swift code,’ BNORPHMM. The BPI Dollar Account is under the name ABS-CBN Foundation Inc.-Sagip Kapamilya with the account number, 3054-0270-35 (swift code: BOPIPHMM).

Citizens’ Disaster Response Center (CDRC)
Donations can be dropped off at 72-A Times St., West Triangle, Q.C. Cash donations are also accepted via Metrobank with Account Name “ Citizens’ Disaster Response Center” and Account Number: 636-3-63600741-3.
Together with SM Foundation, SM Supermalls is now accepting donations in all its malls nationwide. Donation bins are available. Approach the Information Center for details.
